Certain ammunition manufactured by the Remington Arms Company of Bridgeport, Conn., during August 1979 may produce higher than normal pressures, according to information just received from that organization.

The 7mm Express Remington cartridges could cause some damage to firearms and it is also possible that fired cases from this batch of ammunition could be adversely affected and consequently should not be reloaded. The company is recalling all 7mm Express Remington cartridges that were manufactured during August of 1979.

Identification of the suspect cartridges may be accomplished by checking for the following markings on the packages.
