Friday evening dinner guests of Mrs. Mary Quaintance were Charles Raney, Jennifer, Mike and John McArthur of Flint Hill, Mrs. Carroll Quaintance and Mrs. Brown Miller.

Mr. and Mrs. Mickey Ritchie of Front Royal were dinner guests Friday of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer and Fred C. Schaefer. The Schaefers spent the weekend sightseeing in W. Va.

Elder and Mrs. Holly Redmond of Hopewell and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Skeen of Palmyra were dinner guests Saturday evening of Mrs. Ethel Tyner and Miss Nellie Atkins. The Skeens were overnight guests. The Primitive Baptist Church at Thornton’s Gap held their Union Meeting Saturday and Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. John Black returned to their home in Baltimore, Md. after spending two weeks with Mrs. Lester Dodson.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis H. Cordle of Eglin Air Force Base in Florida were weekend guests of Mrs. W. H. Cordle.
