When she pointed that out to her fellow town officials, “Mayor Davis and the rest of the council thought it was a grand idea.” Then Washington's lady mayor had to resign when a move to their new home took the family past the town limits. He came up with an excellent design,” Dorothy said, adding that she still hears visitors remark on how quaint and attractive the street signs are, how perfectly they fit the character of the town.
