Scouts At
State Fair
Junior Girl Scouts from Troop 380 had a marvelous time at the State Fair in Richmond last weekend, according to a spokesman for the group. Two Senior Girl Scouts, Wendy Helmer and Susan Dennis, accompanied 17 girls and six adults on the two-night camping trip. They left Friday afternoon and camped out at Pocahontas State Park.
Saturday at the fair the girls saw a delightful marionette show and a circus. Some enjoyed rides and games on the midway while others watched the#t-H horse show and met Girl Scouts from the Tidewater Council. They also saw pigeons and sheep being judged and toured the milking parlor.
