The Virginia Museum Artmobile will be in Warrenton Oct. 6 through 9 with an exhibition designed to unlock the “secrets” of art. “Secrets” is an exibition that attempts to explain that all art communicates, both directly and symoblically. A variety of art objects, sculpture, paintings, and even a slide presentation on the art of the mime, is included.
The Artmobile will be at Fauquier High School and will be open Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. On Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 8 and 9, it will be open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the shopping center.
The visit is sponsored by the Fauquier Chapter of the Virginia Museum.

Middleburg
The leaves will be at their finest, the horses will be racing, and the 31st annual Christmas Shop will be underway in Middleburg on the weekend of Oct. 11.
Merchants from as far away as Vermont and Chicago will bring their wares to the Emmanuel Episcopal Parish House for the Christmas Shop. Hours will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, Oct. 9, 10, and 11. Mrs. Laurence Achilles Jr., is chairman.
