included a mile hike to Janathan Run where the girls ate lunch and enjoyed wading in the creek. The Brownies also assisted cook Eric Rustic in preparing dinner, giving special attention to the raised rolls.
After dinner, the youngsters marched to their campsite, sat around a huge bonfire prepared by Richard Helmer, listened to “A Tale of Yajar” narrated by Pat Helmer and marveled over the fireworks display set off by Dick Rustic. Cadet Debbie Helmer accompanied the troop on the weekend outing and helped implement the special programs.
