Bi-weekly lessons are designed to encourage all students in the art of dance culminating in a performance at the end of the year. A field trip is planned for dance students to attend the Nutcracker Ballet at Lisner Auditorium in December.
The United States Navy Ceremonial Band will once again make its appearance on the Wakefield stage in November performing a varied concert repertoire to which the public is invited. Mrs. Gloria Harris of the school's music department announces that plans are underway for the appearance uf a Renaissance music :nsemble. Music appreciation classes at Wakefield will attend a jerformance of the National Symphony in November at he Kennedy Center.
