Putman, all of Purcellville. - Recent dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Foster were Mr. and Mrs. Allie Howell, Mr. and Mrs. Granville Howell, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Howell and their families, all of Luray. Mrs. Lucille Butler spent the weekend with the Fosters.
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Crane of Lanham, Md., spent from Friday until Sunday with her mother, Mrs. M. H. Brady.
Weekend guests of Mrs. Guy Foster were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Beaumer and Trina of Manassas.
Mrs. Eleanor Timmons of Alexandria is spending two weeks with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Curtis.
Reunion Held
A reunion of the descendants of the late William Oscar and Mollie Settle Norman was held September 28 at the rec center in Washington. Approximately sixty-five family members were present.
A prize was given Virginia N. Andrews of Arlington, the oldest member attending. She is a niece of W. O. Norman. A great-grandson, Jimmy Norman of Woodville was the youngest family member while Otis Burke of Parkville, Md. traveled the longest distance to the reunion. He is also a greatgrandson.
With much food and many good memories, a grand day was had, according to a family spokesman and plans for a 1981 reunion are hoped for.
