Auction
Local businesses have rallied to help Sperryville’s volunteer firemen raise money to repay a loan taken out for much needed equipments repairs. On Saturday, November 1, the Sperryville Emporium and Huey Atkins’ Exxon station will jointly sponsor an auction to- benefit the fire company.
Live entertainment from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Emporium grounds will immediately precede the auction with music provided by Bobby Jo and The Touch of Gold from radio station WKCW in Warrenton. Lunch will be served.
For the auction scheduled to begin at 2 p.m, the firemen are asking for donations of saleable items.
