Rappahannock News Photo/D. Hutchinson MAKING A JOYFUL CHRISTMAS NOISE, Judy Bomberger, Don Bomberger, Waldron O’Connell and Barbara Sherman (left to right) led the audience at the Rappahannock Christmas Festival in familiar carols. The R A AC-sponsored program included a delightful range of holiday offerings: the gospel choir from Macedonia Baptist Church, the Shape-Note singers, a recorder quartet, a reading from Dylan Thomas' “A Child's Christmas in Wales." and performance of an original dance choreographed for the Last Minute Wood Company by Jeanne Drevas. In the Wood Company's version of the “The 12 Days of Christmas," the true love gave magic mountains, logs for splitting, ponds for swimming, nine kinds of cattle, antique dealers and an apple from a Rappahannock tree.
