of their seemingly inexhaustable energies on developing a camp site at their Rock Mills home. With a comfortable, although nonwinterized, bunk house, nature trails and swimming hole, it provides the perfect introduction to the outdoors for church groups and scout troops they invite from the city. For local youngsters, it gives added appreciation for the countryside around them.
The couple has worked with young people on a more personal basis as well. They’ve taken problem children into their home and opened their doors and hearts to youngsters from other lands, hosting teenage visitors in the Lions Club’s Youth Exchange Program.
