If good Scouts grow up to be good citizens, then Howdy and Helen Holschuh can take some of the credit for turning out a host of good American citizens.
Capt. Holschuh is one of the driving forces behind the effort to establish an Explorer Post in the county. He’s organized rock climbs and other outings designed to give young people a taste of high adventure, an alternative to the highs of drugs and alcohol.
