The firemen collect newspapers as a fundraiser for their activities, but a combination of events has resulted in the newspapers piling up by the old, too-smdl receptacle rather than in the large trailer provided for that purpose. Since we\e the foremost generator of newsprint in the county, we’re sponsoring a clean-up his afternoon between noon and three o’clock. The weekday time is designed to eicourage vacationing students to come and help. Also needed is someone to build steps so hat trash can be carried into the large trailer.
