Energy Analysis

Available

The Potomac Edison Company recently achieved a significant milestone in its energy conservation program for residential customers. The company completed the 1,000th home energy analysis under its residential conservation service program, according to O. P. Bohn, PE’s director of customer services. The major feature of the home energy analysis, according to Bohn, is the inspection of the home by a trained Potomac Edison specialist who can determine where and how energy can be saved.

“Each homeowner receives a detailed report which includes specific recommendations fpr energy saving steps, the approximate cost to install each step, and the potential dollar savings,” he said. Potomac Edison charges SIS for an analysis, although according to Bohn the actual cost is considerably more.

All Potomac Edison residential customers are eligible for this energy analysis program and full details are available from any PE office.
