To the editor:
The Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year with safety and happiness for 1983.
Our rescue squad has responded on 118 calls in 1982 with 14 members. I would like to give special thanks to these people for their time and care.
In the upcoming year we will be faced with members moving from our area and squad, leaving us dangerously short of members to go on calls. We are asking those who may be interested in joining to please contact us so that we can keep our squad functioning as smoothly as possible.
