RCES teacher Susan" Wittl says pupils have completed a month of afterschool mini-courses in a variety of subjects.
Creative writing pupils submitted original stories to “Stone Soup” and “Cricket” magazines. They also took a field trip to Diane Wood’s house to see how an author would use a word processor.
The architecture class studied environmental planning. They planted trees in front of the school as one of their projects.
Wittl says the models class produced some fine miniatures. The cooking class sampled their own pizza, doughnuts and tacos and then compiled their recipes into a book. They also served their parents an exciting spaghetti dinner.
