The latest plans, Konick said, include 19 parking spaces. That number would be required under statewide building code standards if the restaurant were considered as a “place of assembly.” Konick had previously insisted that The Inn have 44 parking spaces to conform with zoning ordinance square footage requirements; The Inn will have 4,400 square feet of space after the building project.

Under the state building code standards, a place of assembly needs one parking space for every five seats. The restaurant at The Inn seats 50 patrons, Konick said; thus ten parking spaces would be needed for the restaurant.
