Konick considered the proposed overnight accommodations at The Inn as falling under the state code standards for a motel. With nine rooms, nine additional parking spaces would be required. The Inn presently has seven spaces in front of the building and propose to add four more in the back of the building. In addition, The Inn holds a lease agreement to share the 21 spaces at Trinity Episcopal Church.
Konick said he had met with representatives from the state highway department Tuesday morning to review the proposed parking behind The Inn and the department had also approved the plan.
