Edward Welch returned to his home last Monday from Warren Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Welch, who has been a patient at Winchester Memorial Hospital returned home last Wednesday.
Mrs. Warren Presgraves was an overnight guest last Monday of her sister, Mrs. Mary Martin at Front Royal. Willie Payne was a Sunday visitor in the Presgraves home.
Thursday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Huff were Mrs. Geneva Cubbage of Stanley and Miss Sallie Lillard. Keith Kinsey of Front Royal spent the weekend here with his grandparents.

The Woman’s Society of Christian Service of the United Methodist Church met at the parsonage on Monday evening with the Rev. and Mrs. Merlin Shorb and family for a buffet supper. The group took part in a Christmas program which was followed with communion. Those present were Mary Brady, Mabel Lillard, Russie Miller, Flo Duvall, Fisher Burford, Barbara Gentry, Mary Bywaters, Alice Pullen, Frances Bradford, Janet Eastham, Margaret Eastham and Linda Miller.
