“I think that there is a consensus that we would like to control those areas that are posing a potential threat,” said Kramer. “The question is where are those areas, and what constitutes a threat.”
Kramer suggested that Fisher talk to the geologist, communicate the findings to Wickens, and that the two bring in a revised version of the ordinance at the next meeting.
The council then moved on to a discussion of possible solutions to the dog problem in Washington. Willis told the council that she would draft two ordinances to deal with the dogs.
One ordinance would enable the council to appoint a town dog warden to patrol the streets and pick up any roaming dogs. The other ordinance would outline the procedure to be followed once the dogs are caught
