Roy Carter, 76, of AmissviUe, died Oct. 15 at Fauquier Hospital.
He is survived by his wife Evie Carter, a son James B. Carter and a daughter Catherine C. Paul, both of AmissviUe, a sister Blanche Poe, Clifton, five grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the AmissviUe Baptist Church by Rev. Joseph Stirman and Rev. Steven Parker. Burial wiU be in the AmissviUe Methodist Church cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the AmissviUe Rescue Squad.

Mrs. Lula Betty KidweU, 72, of Front Royal died Wednesday, October 10 in Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal.
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal by the Rev. 8hane Fletcher and the Rev. John J. Stevenson. Burial was in Shenandoah Memorial Park in Frederick County.
Mrs. KidweU was born May 24, 1912 in Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Margaret Wines Wines. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Her husband was the late William R. Kidwell
Surviving are three sons, Roger Weatherholtz of Front Royal, Ronnie Ray Weatherholtz and James F. Weatherholtz, both of Winchester, six daughters, Elsie M. Barkley, Betty Rowzie, Margaret Foster, Dorothy Funk and Helen Weatherholtz, aU of Front Royal and Barbara Kerns of Winchester; a sister, Ethel Broyles of Luray Nursing Home; 25 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
