Benefit Sock Hop A benefit sock hop, sponsored by the Sperryville Ladies Auxiliary is scheduled for Friday, October 26 at 7 p.m. at the Sperryville fire hall. Steve Norman of Castleton will be the dee-jay. Admission is $2 »nrf refreshments will be sold.
Harvest Dinner Planned At Sperryville The Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary will be having a Harvest Dinner on Saturday, November 3, at the fire Hill The menu consists of roast turkey with the trimmings, a variety of vegetables and desserts, rolls, butter and beverages, all for the price of $6.50 for adults and $3.50 for children under 12. Carry out dinners will be available from 4:30 p.m. till 5:15 p.m. with dinner served at the fire hall from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale by members of the auxiliary and can alao be purchased at the door.
Elegant Country Supper The Third Annual Elegant Country Supper to benefit Hie HiM Care and Learning Center is November 3, but reservations for the event are needed by Wednesday, October 24. The meal begins at 7 p.m. on the third, and will take place in ilea different country homes. Hie price per person is $30, which is tax deductible.
