Mrs. Fannie EsteD Nicholson, 77, of Washington, died Saturday, October 13 in Warren Memorial Hoeptial in Front Royal.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday at the Thornton Gap Regular Baptist Church near Sperryville by the Rev. Kirby Shank. Burial was in the Washington Masonic Cemetery.
A native of Sperryville, Mrs. Nicholson was the daughter of the late Silas and Amanda Burke Jenkins. She was married to the late Hubert Jackson Nicholson and was a member of the Thornton Gap Regular Baptist Church for about 64 years.
Surviving are a daughter, Dorothy Reynolds of Centreville; two sons, Clarence J. “Ted” Nicholson and William E. Nicholson, both of Front Royal; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and a brother, Dolan F. Jenkins of Front Royal.
Pallbearers were Frank Huff, Allie Huff, John K. Burke, Jimmy Burke, Cedi Atkins and Lewis Judd.
Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of arrangements.
