The discussion led to more ideas about getting the message - or any message - moving among the members of Congress who can make it move on higher levels, even worldwide.
One participant said people can’t assume the men and women of Congress know about every issue, and that could be the reason why they sometimes appear to be insensitive. He suggested writing letters to members of Congress, noting he thought they didn’t get that much input from citizens and that members were impressed by letters, especially personal ones, handwritten.
