After beating league rival Seton School, the Wakefield Owls have bettered their record to six wins and one loss. The match on Friday, October 12, was hard fought and close despite a victory margin of 4-1 for the Owls. Wakefield now leads their league with a perfect 5-0 record.
The match developed slowly with both teams feeling each other out and playing timidly at first. Wakefield registered the first goal of the game off forward Russell Rowzie’s foot. Seton fought back and tied the score at 1-1 just before the half.
