Crocheting Class To Begin A beginner’s crocheting class will be held December 10 and 12 at 7 p.m. at the Courthouse in Washington. “Bring a crochet hook and a skein of yam to learn the basics,” said organizer, Florence Vickers.
Microcomputer Workshop To Be Held A microcomputer workshop will be held at Virginia Tech December 17 through December 19. Most of the workshop will be actually using computers. There will be a registration fee of $10 per person. For more information call the Extension office at 675-3619. Registration deadline is November 24.
Christmas In The Country To Be Celebrated “Christmas In The Country Fair” will be held the entire month of November at the Sperryville Antique Market. Many handcrafted gift items and antiques will be available. The market is open each weekend from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is located just off Route 211 in Sperryville.
