The nimble fingers of the ladies of the Rappahannock County Garden Club will be busy next week as the members fashion the holiday garlands, wreaths and swags which have brightened county homes since the club was created in 1949.
The Christmas workshop extends for a week and requires the commitment of each club member. The proceeds are used to assist in beautifying Rappahannock County and to send two County children to nature camp each year.
Orders for die mixed green wreaths, boxwood wreaths, garlands, and swags may be placed at the following numbers no later than Sunday, December 2:987-8300; 6753744; 675-3244; and 987-8943. Orders may be picked up in the basement of the Rappahannock County Historical Society Building Saturday, December 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
