With the holiday giving season lhst approaching, we tend to rush around buying gifts and joining others to share the "Spirit of Christmas.” Following are some ideas for both entertaining and gifts.
The following recipe was submitted by Mrs. Mary Bain of Washington. Pkg. Duncan Hines yellow cake mix Add 1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding (dmall) Mix together. 3/4 cup sherry 8/4 cup butter or margarine 4 eggs Mix 10 minutes with electric mixer. Pour into tube cake pan and bake at 825 degrees for 50 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes, then glaze with 1 cup 10X sugar and 1/4 cup sherry.
