Cheerleaders who served
last year and will act again this year for Rappahannock County High School are Patricia Reeve, Myrla Ann Updike, Shirley Burke and Bonnie Pingley. New members added to the group are Sue Many, Charlene Gasch, Jacqueline Marlowe and Patsy Woodward.
Mrs. Frank Spalding, Commissioner of Revenue for Rappahannock County attended a meeting and banquet of Commissioners of Revenue in Richmond where she had been chosen to reply to Mayor Scott A. Andersen’s address of welcome at the meeting.

Mrs. Johanna Patzig of
Sperryville, who has been a most able and active volunteer in the organizing work at the Rappahannock Library, was honored with a reception Sunday at the Library. More than 150 patrons and friends of the library and of Mrs. Patzig attended the afternoon tea. Miss Bemadine Wilson, newly appointed Librarian, was also a guest of honor at the reception.
