Mrs. C.R. Powell of Kilmarnock spent last week with her brother-inlaw and sister, Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Lyne.
Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown, Jr. returned to their home in Tazewell after visiting relatives here.
Dinner guests New year’s Day of Mr. and Mrs. Cletus Clarke were Mr. and Mrs. A1 Toulotte, Sr., Peter, Charlie and Mary Toulotte, Mr. and Mrs. Berlin Toulotte and daughter, Kori, all of Culpeper and Joy McNalley of Massachusetts.
Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Cloe and daughter, Beth of Stafford and son, Weedon of the College of William and Mary were guests for the Christmas holidays of Mr. and Mrs. T.J. Pillar. Mrs. Pillar and her sister, Mrs. W.H. Cordle toured Williamsburg December 27-30 and visited the David Cordles.
Mrs. Jack Brown, Mrs. Frances Thornton, Mrs. J.W. Fletcher and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown, Jr. visited Mrs. Brown’s daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lenny Mears and daughter, Lucy in King George last week. Mike Brown has returned to V.P.I. after spending the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Jack Brown.
Mrs. Ruby Dwyer was a Saturday guest of her sister, Mrs. Daniel Keyser in Winchester.
Mrs. Claudia Jenkins of Woodville was omitted from the guest list on Christmas Day of Mr. and Mrs. Sonny Anderson.
Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Sanford, Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Sanford III and Lyle Sanford of Orange, Mrs. Mary Quaintance and Mrs. Brown Miller had dinner Saturday evening at the Holiday Inn in Culpeper. Lyle Sanford returned to Texas on Monday after spending the holidays with his parents.
