Mr. and Mrs. Gene M. Dodson, Travis and Heather of Port Charlotte, Florida spent the holidays here with Mr. Dodson’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Dodson. The elder Dodsons accompanied their son and his family back to Florida, where they will spend the winter months.
Family and friends gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Acrey Dodson several times during the holidays and all enjoyed a bountiful feast at each gathering.
Mr. and Mrs. Gary Bailey entertained family members during the holidays.
Neighbors, friends and family^ members visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Smith during the holidays.
Miss Carolyn Dodson and Miss Tammy Strigler of Dumphries spent the weekend with Miss Dodson’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dodson.

Nursing Program
Applications for entrance into the Practical Nursing Program at Piedmont Technical Education Center in Culpeper are currently available. The 18 month program prepares a student to take the State Board of Nursing examination to become a licensed practical nurse (L.P.N.). Applications will be accepted through February 28 for the rings beginning in late August, 1985.
Adults of any age as well as high school juniors or seniors may apply for the program. The applications and information may be obtained by contacting Piedmont Technical Education Center or a high school guidance counselor.
There .s no tuition charge to residents of Orange, Madison, Culpeper, or Rappahannock Counties. However, the cost for books, uniforms, and other expenses is approximately $300-$500 for each of the two nine month phases.
