Family Planning Course Offered
A course in the modem natural methods of family planning will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Warrenton, beginning at 7:30 p.m. on January 10. The course consists of one two-hour session each month for four months and is taught by a Certified Teaching Couple v of the Couple to Couple League.
The method taught by the Couple to Couple League is a system of fertility awareness in which symptoms of female fertility are used in a cross-checking way for greatest reliability and confidence. This system is as effective as any artificial form of contraceptive without incurring • health risk. Modem natural family planning is NOT “Rhythm”. It has an effectiveness level of 99 percent in actual practice and is used by many couples to either plan a pregnancy or avoid a pregnancy.
The instruction covers the science and art of natural family planning as well as the Christian philoso, hy regarding the proper use of sexual functions.
