Parent Advisory Council To Meet

The Rappahannock County Chaper 1 Parent Advisory Council will meet on Tuesday, January 22 at 7 p.m. at the School Board Office. The major item on the agenda will be an overview of all Chapter 1 programs in the school division.

Members of the Parent Advisory Council include Mrs. Kitty Darner, Mrs. Nancy Leake, Mrs. Geraldine Payne, Mrs. Helena Russell and Mrs. Cheryl Smith. All meetings are open to the public.

Ruritans To Meet

The Amissville Ruritan Club will meet on Wednesday, January 16 at 7:30 p.m. at the Amissville Baptist Church. All members and interested persons are urged to attend.

Wearable Art Show And Sale Set

The Virginia Museum Shop will present a textile artists show and sale Friday and Saturday, January 25 and 26 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:3Q “Wearable Art” by a number of Virginia textile artists will be modeled and displayed in this third annual sale sponsored by the Virginia Museum Council. The Museum is on the Boulevard at Grove Avenue, two miles from exit 14 from 1-95 in Richmond.
