lent home for our baseball teams, and ;he Ruritans have the opportunity to nake a permanent home in Amissville. We thank Mrs. Stuart for her most generous gift to the community and that of Mrs. Sharon Greenbach Luke for her assistance with the technical difficulties. We look forward with great enthusiasm in making the land, diamonds and any activity the best the Ruritans can provide.
A very special thanks goes to a very special couple who throughout the years have quietly and very actively contributed their time, talents, and money in conjunction with the Amissville Baptist and Methodist Churches, the Amissville Ruritan Club, Graham and Dorothy Hackley put together nearly 50 food and/or fruit baskets that were distributed this year as in the past. Their continued community support is unsurpassed.
Although time and space does not permit the mention of each and every individual I know of who the Ruritans most graciously thank, we look forward to another banner year; with your support and the spirit of working together, we shall succeed with our objective in making our community a better place in which to live.
