Doug Baumgardner, legal counsel for the Authority, had sent a letter to Wilson at the State Water Control Board advising him that the easement agreements should be completed by the end of January. The Authority voted to have Gerhart send the contract notices when the part B application is approved by the State Water Control Board. “It’s our understanding that if we don’t get approval then we’ll have a special meeting to decide the awarding of contracts which is in our power to do,” said Chairman Bob Dennis.
Gerhart also asked for the necessary signatures of the chairman and the secretary on the final contract plans. Chairman Dennis and the secretary, James White, signed the plans.
The WSA also received a proposal for their audit by Dennis A. Bailey in Orange. “His quoted fee is not to exceed $1,800 for what is going to amount to a one year audit and an update of the rest of the financial matters of the Authority since its inception,” said Cilimberg. The Authority has been in existence for 16 years. Bailey also advised the Authority in a letter that the audit would be completed by February 28. The Authority approved, the offer.
