Club News

The Sperryville Community 4-H Club met on Monday, February 18 at 7 p.m. at the Sperryville fire hall.
The meeting was called to order by President Elizabeth Oliver. Fallowing the various reports given by club leaders, discussion followed about a field trip. It was decided upon going to the New Market Battlefield sometime during the month of April. Plans will be finalized at the March meeting.
Project work followed, with all the girls doing fitness and exercise under the direction of co-leader, Debra Pullen. Miss Pullen talked to the girls concerning fitness, health and there was a 15 minute exercise class. At the next meeting this project will continue.
The boys in the club are working on a woodworking and small engine project under the direction of Jeff Dwyer.
Members attending this month were Filizabeth Oliver, Jennifer Leake, Christie Estep, Heather Estep, Crystal Leake, Heather Aylor, Shane Thompson, Richie Lillard, Kyle Thompson, Susan Payne, Tracey Thompson and Amy Payne.
A good time was enjoyed by all and any area youngster between the ages of 9 and 19 are invited to join us at our March 18th meeting which will begin at 7 p.m. at the fire hall.
