Lenten Series

Rappahannock’s annual community Lenten series began on Wednesday, February 27 and will continue each Wednesday through March 24.
Parishoners from Trinity Episcopal Church, Washington Baptist Church, St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Reynolds Memorial Church and the Rappahannock Charge of the United Methodist Church will gather at Trinity in Washington for a pot-luck supper beginning at 6:15 p.m. each night. A program celebrating the Lenten pilgrimage will follow at 7 p.m.
This year’s programs will be centered around the beatitudes as expressed in the lives of great Christians, taught by the Rev. James P. Lincoln.
It promises to be a tjme of fellowship, fun, worship and celebration. All are invited to bring a dish and share in this community event. A nursery for small children will be provided.
