Oratorio Society presents concert
The Front Royal Oratorio Society presents its annual Christinas concert on Sunday, December 8,1985 at 7:30 p.m., at the Front Royal Presbyterian Church. This season, the Society celebrates its 25th Anniversary of bringing good quality music to the area.
The program includes the beautiful “Gloria” by Vivaldi, “Christmas Joy” by Wyrtzen and “O Holy Night” by Rutter. The program is a balance of serious as well as lighter and familiar Christmas music.
Mr. Ron Johnston will direct the choir and Mrs. Beverly Clark will accompany on both the piano and organ. Additional accompaniment will be a brass ensemble and chimes. Refreshments will be served following the program in the Church Fellowship Hall and the public is invited.
District representative
Representative D. French Slaughter, Jr. will send his District Representaive, Jane Clatterbuck, to Rappahannock County on Wednesday, December 11,1985.
Mrs. Clatterbuck will be available to talk with constituents who have problems of a federal nature. She will be at the Courthouse from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Business Computer Show
Highlighting microcomputers and their use in both small and large businesses is the theme of the Business Computer Snow at Lord Fairfax Community College Conference Center, Friday, December 6, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Retailers and manufacturer’s representatives will demonstrate the latest in computer technology hardware and software and answer questions relating to individual business applications.
