Overall, December should produce below average temperatures and precipitation, although the prediction for winter ’85-’86 indicates slightly above average snowfall. Look for snow the 1st and 2nd, the 5th-7th and again on the 27th and 28th. These last two periods could produce severe storms, so be on the lookout. Mid-month promises to be mild but temperatures will be falling as we approach the holidays. The month winds up very cold, with strong winds to welcome in the New Year.
