Finding lumber mills that have such wide boards has not been easy, but Tom manages to find all of his wood within 20 miles of Woodville.
“I tell all of the lumber mills to be on the look-out for big trees and to keep me in mind,” he said. “I get the boards custom sawed and then I airdry all of the wood in my own building.”
