John Wills
John Clyde Wills, 90, of Philadelphia, Pa., died November 23, 1986, at his residence.
Bom in Rappahannock County, he was the son of the late John B. and Ruth Payne Wills. He joined the First Baptist Church in Washington at an early age and later joined the White Rock Baptist Church, where he served as an usher and deacon. He was retired from the Navy Yard in Philadelphia.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Wills, of Philadelphia, one sister, Mary Carter, of Washington, D.C., his niece, Dorothy C. Butler, of Sperryville; four great nieces; one great nephew; one great great nephew and a sister-in-law, Beatrice Neal Wills, of Welch, West Virginia.
Funeral services wer conducted at the White Rock Baptist Church on November 29 with interment at Mount Lawn Cemetery at Sharon Hill, Pa.

Halley watch
The Fauquier Astronomical Society will have Halley watches Friday and Saturday, starting at 7:30 p.m., near New Baltimore.
