Tom is not upset that people think his furniture is old. He and his two full-time employees, Jeff Dwyer and Brett Taylor, spend time and effort to give the furniture an old-fashioned appeal.
They have even developed “secret" methods that make the furniture as primitive looking as possible.
“A major factor in how the furniture looks is the wood itself,” Tom said. “We use all white pine for the farm tables, which is the wood most farmers used to make their furniture, and we don’t use any boards less than 16 inches wide.”
