In another case, Usters Dodson was convicted on three accounts of illegal sales of alcoholic beverages. He is sentenced to a $300 fine and 90 days in jail. It was Mr. Dodson’s fourth offense for the same crime.
Mr. Dodson pleaded not guilty to the charges. Three of the four bottles of brand-name alcoholic beverages that were presented as evidence were pints. Mr. Dodson said, “I never had a pint of whiskey in 12 years. It’s all fibs.”
Special Undercover Agent John Roach testified that Mr. Dodson had sold him the alcoholic beverages on four different occasions, beginning in October 1984. Mr. Roach’s supervisor, E.B. Snoddy-Special Agent for«the ABC Board, also testified against Mr. Dodson.
