DAK and SAK Christmas banquet
The Culpeper Minute Men Chapters, Daughters of the American Revolution and Sons of the American Revolution, will join the Fauquier/NSDAR Chapter for the animal Christmas banquet at Airlie near Warrenton on Saturday, December1? at 6:00 p.m.
The speaker will be Robert Jacobs, a historian, whose topic is “Presentation and Preservation — England versus America.”
‘Lonely Hearts’
“Lonely Hearts” starring Australian Wendy Hughes, Norman Kaye, Jonathan Hardy, Jon Finlayson will be featured at the Gay Street Theatre on December 7-8.
The story is about a repressed heroine trying to break away from her parents. Wendy Hughes is lovely and painfully comic. This gentle comedy is kept alive by her fine acting and that of Norman Kaye who plays the piano tuner who courts her. The film is rated PG.
SperryviUe 4-H Club Christmas party
The SperryviUe 4-H Community Club will host their annual Christmas party, Tuesday, December 17 at 7 p.m. at the SperryviUe firehaU.
