Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Henry of Front Royal visited the Leonard Campbells Sunday.
Mrs. Steve Lockhart of Front Royal is a patient in Winchester Hospital. She is a sister of Mrs. Frances Campbell.
Supper guests of Mrs. Frances Eubank at Nona Gioia’s in Sperryville on Sunday night were Mrs. Mary Hudson and Mrs. Etta Estes.
Mr. and Mrs. Mike Hudson and daughter Victoria were weekend guest of Mrs. Hudson’s parents in Richmond.
Mr. and Mrs. John Clark, Jr., and children Amanda and Stacy returned home on Saturday evening after having vacationed in the New England states for a week.Highlights of the trip included a visit to the Adirondack National Park in New York, a ride on the Lake Champlain Ferry from New York to Vermont, and a tour of the White Mountains in New Hampshire, where they drove to the summit of Mt. Washington, 6,288 feet high. The day they went to th top the temperature was 46 degrees. It is the highest mountain north of the Carolinas and east of the Rockies.
The Clarks also visited Clarks Trading Post where they have trained black bears and took a ride on a steam engine. In Maine they toured the Bar Harbour area, including Acadia National Park on Mt. Desert Island.
Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Brown and daughters Amanda Rae and Bobbie Jo enjoyed a picnic at Dickey Ridge on Sunday afternoon.
