Lyle Sanford, who has spent the summer with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Sanford in Orange, spent several days with his aunt Mrs. Mary Quaintance and returned to San Antonio, Texas, last Thursday.

Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. James Swindler were Mr. and Mrs.

Dennis Hathaway of Chincoteague Island, Mrs. Marie Hathaway, Bobbette Swindler and Mitchell Collins, all of Fairfax.

Mrs. H. B. Wood of Woodville and Mrs. Mary Quaintance were luncheon guests Sunday of Mrs. Lois Pulliam of Manassas.

Mrs. Otis Stever of Thompsonville, Pa., spent last week with her husband Otis Stever, supervisor of

the WSA project in town. They were dinner guests last Tuesday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer.

Mrs. Catherine Brown and her brother Carlton Atkins recently had eye implants in Fredericksburg.

Mrs. Frances Tabler returned home last week after a vacation in Florida.
