help
The Hospice of the Rapidan and Home Health Care have a variety of services available to assist people in dealing with catastrophic or terminal illnesses of family members or friends.
The workers at the two organizations are aware that many people become frustrated and feel helpless and alone, not knowing where to turn for help. They can provide assistance both in caring for, or understanding how to provide care for, a sick friend or family member.
The Hospice and Home Health Care are scheduling a series of meetings during September to acquaint the public with the services offered by the two groups. The meetings will be held on Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30. Refreshments will be served. Following is a list of dates and locations of the meetings:
• Sept. 4: Culpeper Baptist Church, S. West St.
• Sept. 11: Madison Methodist Church, S. Main St.
• Sept. 18: Washington Baptist Church, Mt. Salem Ave.
• Sept. 25: Orange Methodist Church, Main St.
“We’re joining together to let the public know more about our services,” said Susan Taylor, executive director of the Hospice of the Rapidan. “We want to help, please let us. Now is the time to learn how Hospice or Home Health Care can meet your needs or future needs.”
