The association also discussed a fee schedule for membership in the association, and decided on a fee of $35. Members from each county will be responsible for soliciting additional members from their county. A portion of the dues will be used for production of the association’s brochure.
Ed Gentry reported that the association’s legal paperwork relating to its incorporation as a non-profit organization had been filed with the state, and that official notification should be received shortly.
The next meeting of the Foothills Association will be held at the Fauquier Club in Warrenton on September 2 at 9a.m.
