Duties: Serve as chief of a survey party engaged in making surveys for construction project or securing ground control data. Instruct subordinates in all phases of work. Supervise securing of data & stake out location of buildings, roads, utility lines. Qualifications: Knowledge of engineering survey work and civil engineering practices. Skill in use of all types of survey instruments. Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings & serial photographs. Ability to train & supervise employees. Physical ability to work out of doors under adverse conditions. Graduation from high school & survey experience; or a combination of training, education, and/or experience which demonstrates ability to perform duties of position.
