Clater awarded
Navy medal
RMC (SW) Ernest F. Clater has been awarded the Navy Achievement Medal for outstanding service since he reentered the Navy from retirement in March 1984.
Chief Clater and his wife Evon are presently serving two years in Great Britain where he is Officer in Charge of Naval Telecommunications Center at St. Mawgan.
Chief Clater is the son of Maggie Clater of Sperryville.
